Over 35 years of experience in aquafeed and aquaculture

Aquaculture Experience offers independent consultancy services. With a track record of over 35 years in the international aquaculture and aquafeed industry, Hans Boon, founder of Aquaculture Experience, is an experienced partner for all aspects of your aquafeed-related organization.

With a Master degree in Biology and a specialization in aquaculture and nutrition, Hans Boon left Wageningen Agricultural University in 1987 to become a biological and technical supervisor in the aquaculture business. After switching to the aquafeed business in 1989, he held several positions in the aquafeed division of the Provimi Group, including Division Manager. In 2008 Hans founded Aquaculture Experience and has since built an impressive portfolio and network.

Aquafeed & aquaculture network

Aquaculture Experience surrounds itself with an extensive team of consultants, all experts in their own specific area of the aquaculture industry. This means Aquaculture Experience can approach projects from various angles and will always have the appropriate expertise available.

Among other liaisons, Hans Boon is one of the founding members of the Dutch Aquaculture Experts (DAE), a knowledge and business consortium of the most qualified and sophisticated aquaculture companies and research institutes in the Netherlands. Sharing his knowledge and vast experience, he is also a regular key note speaker at conferences, courses and trainings.
